Toddler, dance and holiday song videos
Atlabs turns toddler songs, dance and action songs, and holiday songs into animated videos with the same characters every time. Upload the song or write the lyrics and let Atlabs make it, then pick a bright style and your recurring characters. Atlabs builds a scene for each part of the song, so the characters clap, jump or decorate the tree when the lyrics say so.
Try it here: https://app.atlabs.ai/create/kids-music-video
Best for: toddler channels, action and movement songs, Christmas, Halloween, Diwali and Lunar New Year songs, and preschool classrooms.
Before you start: get the song
- Use your own .mp3 or .wav (up to 200MB), or open Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music) and write your lyrics with [verse] and [chorus] tags. For a toddler song, describe the music as "simple, bouncy, slow tempo, clear child-friendly vocals".
- Write the actions into the lyrics. Action songs work best when the lyrics say the move: "Jump, jump, jump like a frog", "Spin around and touch the ground". Atlabs builds scenes from the lyrics, so the moves show up on screen.

Step 1: Music
- Open Workflows → Kids Music Video. Click Upload your music track and add an .mp3 or .wav file up to 200MB. You can also paste a Suno or SoundCloud link and click Extract Music, or pick one of the Sample Music Files.
- No song yet? Make one with Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music).

Made your song on Suno?
- Open your song in Suno.
- Click Unlock Audio.
- Click Download Audio and upload the file here.
Once the audio is unlocked, you can also paste the Suno song link directly.

- In Trim your track, select the part of the song to use. Only the selected part is used in your video.
- Choose the Video type: Narrative (No Lip Sync, a story told across cinematic scenes) or Performance (Lip Sync, Premium, a lip-synced performance video of the artist).
- Optional: in the Storyline box, describe the story you want and introduce your cast. Leave it blank and Atlabs writes one from your track. Click Confirm.

- Atlabs analyses the track and shows what it heard: Language, Mood, Genre and BPM. If anything is wrong, click the pencil icon on that card and correct it before you move on.

Step 2: Style
- Pick the Aspect Ratio: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1.
- Pick the Video Style: AI Video (Recommended) or AI Storyboard (still images).
- Pick a Visual Style from the grid. 3D Cartoon and Cozy Plush suit toddlers. For holiday songs, any style works with a seasonal concept.

Step 3: Concepts
- Under Choose your concept, Atlabs shows several concepts generated from your song's tempo, mood and genre, each with a title, a short story and preview frames.
- Select one, or click the pencil icon on a concept to edit it. To write your own, click Describe your concept. For a holiday video, use it to set the scene, for example "a teddy bear and a puppy decorate a Christmas tree in a snowy cabin".

Step 4: Cast
- Atlabs generates the characters, objects and locations for your video. Review, swap or delete them: everything on this screen appears in your final video. Use Add Character or Add Object to add more.

For each character, open its card and choose how to set it up:
- AI-generated character (Create New): Atlabs fills in the details, such as name, age, gender, ethnicity, Visual Appearance, clothing and voice. Change anything you want and click Save. The more detail you give in Visual Appearance, the more consistent the character looks in every scene. Also add the character's height in Visual Appearance, for example "about 97 cm tall". Height keeps the character's proportions right next to other characters and objects, whether it is a human, an animal or any other character.
- Character Library: pick a character you made before, or one of the ready-made actors.
- Upload your own image: upload a reference image of your character, then choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look:
- Match Video Style converts your image into the video's visual style. Use it when your image is a real photo or a different art style from your video.
- Keep Uploaded Look uses your image as it is. Use it when your image is already in the same visual style as your video.
This choice keeps the uploaded character consistent with the visual style of the video.

For this video:
- Pick your channel characters from the Character Library tab. Add holiday locations and objects, such as a pumpkin patch or lanterns.
Locations and objects work the same way: create them with AI, pick them from the library, or upload your own image.
Finalise Video
- Click Finalise Video. In How would you like to start?, choose:
- Storyboard: a still image for every scene, with no motion or lip sync yet.
- Video Preview: the first 25 seconds with full motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
- Full Video: every scene with complete motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
- Each option shows its credit cost. Click Generate.
- You can close the window once generation starts. Your video keeps generating and appears in My Stories.

Add captions
- On the storyboard, click Captions in the top bar.
- Choose a caption style. Under Caption Settings, set the Text Size, Caption Length and Vertical Position, and change the font and colour under Font Settings. Click Save.

Captions help with sing-along. For very young children, keep them short or turn them off from the same Captions window.
Tips for toddler videos
- Keep scenes simple, with one or two characters and bright, clear colours.
- Repeat the same characters in every video. Toddlers like familiar faces.
- Slow songs with clear words are easier to follow.

Holiday videos for every festival
Make one video per festival with the same cast, so your regular characters celebrate Christmas, Halloween and Lunar New Year on your channel. Plan the videos a few weeks early and schedule them from the Export panel.
FAQ
What software do I need to make cartoon music videos for toddlers?
One tool is enough. Atlabs Kids Music Video makes the animation, and Generate Music can make the song.
Can the same characters appear in every dance song?
Yes. Save them in your first video and pick them from the Character Library in every later one.
Can I make holiday songs if I don't have the music?
Yes. Write the lyrics and generate the song in Generate Music, then upload it to Kids Music Video.
