Steps

Kids Music Video has four steps: Music, Set Style, Concepts, and Finalise.

Step 1: Add your music

1. Open Workflows → Kids Music Video and upload your .mp3 or .wav (up to 200MB), or paste a SoundCloud link.

Made the song on Suno? Open it in Suno, click Unlock Audio, then Download Audio and upload the file. Once the audio is unlocked, you can also paste the Suno song link.
No song yet? Make one with Generate Music at app.atlabs.ai/music.

• Click Upload Audio and drag in your file. Supported: .mp3 and .wav, max 200MB.
• Set the language of the audio. Automatic (Recommended) auto-detects language and accent, or pick one manually (e.g. English, Hindi, Tamil, Spanish).
• Atlabs transcribes the track, extracting the lyrics/dialogue and detecting tempo, mood, and genre to structure it into scenes. Credits used are shown before you confirm.

🚨 If the language is misidentified, correct it manually before transcription for clean results.

• Atlabs now automatically detects the elements of your audio track, like the Language, Mood, Genre, and BPM.

Note: If the language or the elements are misidentified, you can easily click to edit and correct it before moving to the next step.

Step 2: Set Style

Set the aspect ratio and video format, then pick a kid-friendly visual style. You can upload your own mascot later when you finalise the cast.

• Select the aspect ratio depending on where you are planning to post it. (16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Shorts)
• Choose the Video Style: whether you want an AI video or a storyboard with still images.
• Pick a kid-friendly style, such as 3D Cartoon for nursery rhymes, Claymation for counting songs, or Cozy Plush for bedtime songs.

Step 3: Shape the creative direction

Pick one of the story concepts Atlabs generates from your song, or edit it.

• Atlabs will give you multiple video directions to select from for the music video.
• Different interpretations of the same song; you can hover and read the one that resonates best with the vibe of the song.
• If you have your own vision, select Describe your content and add a 1–2 line description. For a specific story or scene sequence, describe it in the Storyline field when you upload the music. For example, you can outline the characters, setting, and scenes you want the song to follow.

Step 4: Finalise the Cast

Define your recurring characters (an animal, a child character, a narrator). You can also upload a face if you want a specific presenter, or a known kid.

Atlabs lists the characters, locations, and objects from your concept. Click any card to set it up. Each has three tabs:

• Create New (AI): Atlabs generates it from the details you give. For a character, that means name, age, Visual Appearance, and voice, for example, "a little red fox cub with a teal knitted vest".
• Library: pick one you have already made, or a ready-made one. Use this to keep the same mascot in every video on your channel.
• Upload: use your own image, for example, your channel's existing mascot. Choose Keep Uploaded Look if the image already matches your video's style, or Match Video Style to convert it. See Upload your own character.
• Assign each character a role, such as singer, in the cast panel.

💡 Tip: For a series (e.g., a rhyme channel), reuse a character across videos so your channel has a consistent mascot. The workflow can generate the scenes with lip sync together, and you can edit scenes individually afterward.

Final Step: Finalise Video

Once all 4 steps are set up, click Finalise Video. The complete credit estimate is displayed when you click this option, before you confirm generation.

• You can generate 'Storyboard' - still images/visuals for the music video first. (Then, scene-by-scene generate motions and lip-syncs)
• You can choose 'Preview Video' - generate the first 25 seconds with full motion & lip-sync. (To check if this align with your vision)
• Generate the Full Video with everything end-to-end. (Visuals, Motions, Lip-syncs)

You can close the window once generation starts. Your video keeps generating in the background. Come back anytime and find it in My Stories.

Generate the video, then add captions and on-screen words to help early readers sing along and keep the video watchable without sound. Export when ready.

Sing-along captions: Open Captions in the storyboard top bar and choose a caption style, size and position. On-screen words help early readers sing along and keep the video watchable with the sound off. You can fix any word's timing in the Captions tab of a scene.

Publishing to YouTube: Click Export, then the YouTube icon under Other Actions, and connect your channel. Add a title, description and thumbnail, then publish now or schedule it. Uploads are private by default. Create Thumbnail in the same panel makes a thumbnail from your video's own scenes.

Starting from an idea instead of a song: Use Animated Video. Type a prompt or paste a script, and Atlabs writes the scenes, casts the characters, and animates them.

Good to know

• Music Video workflows start on the Pro plan, with videos up to 5 minutes and 1080p export.

How do I make a kids nursery rhyme video?
Use the Kids Music Video workflow (app.atlabs.ai/create/kids-music-video). For a soft, Cocomelon-style look, pick the 3D Cartoon style at the style step, before you set up characters.

Can I use my own song, or make one with AI?
Yes. In Step 1, upload your own song as an MP3 or WAV file (up to 200 MB), or use a SoundCloud link. If you don't have a song, create one with Atlabs Generate Music at app.atlabs.ai/music, then use it in the Kids Music Video workflow. Make sure you have the rights to any song you upload; the workflow does not establish copyright permission.

How do I make a music video from my own song?
In the Music Video workflow, go to Step 1, choose Upload Audio, and add an MP3 or WAV file up to 200 MB.

How do I use a song I made on Suno?
Open your song in Suno, click Unlock Audio, then Download Audio, and upload the file in Step 1. Once the audio is unlocked, pasting the Suno link works too.
