How do I make a Music Video with Atlabs?
πΉ Music Video: Full Workflow
Use this feature to turn any song or audio file into a scene-by-scene video. Atlabs transcribes your audio and maps each lyric or voiceover chunk to a scene with matching visuals and your defined characters appearing throughout.
Perfect for:
π Converting audiobooks into cinematic video books
π΅ Creating kids' music videos into stories, lessons, or school chapters.
π£οΈ Visualizing voiceovers, spoken poetry, or podcast moments

Step 1: Add your music
- Click Upload Audio and drag in your file. Supported: .mp3 and .wav, max 200MB.
- Set the language of the audio. Automatic (Recommended) auto-detects language and accent, or pick one manually (e.g. English, Hindi, Tamil, Spanish).
- Atlabs transcribes the track, extracting the lyrics/dialogue and detecting tempo, mood, and genre to structure it into scenes. Credits used are shown before you confirm.
π¨ If the language is misidentified, correct it manually before transcription for clean results.

- Atlabs now automatically detects the elements of your audio track like the Language, Mood, Genre, BPM.

Note: If the language or the elements are misidentified, you can easily click to edit and correct it before moving to the next step.
Step 2: Set the style
- Select the Aspect Ratio depending on where you are planning to post it.
- Choose the Video Style: Whether you want an AI Video or you would like to generate the storyboard with the still images.
- Finally, pick a visual style for your music video.

Step 3: Shape the creative direction
- Atlabs will give you multiple video directions to select from for the music video.
- Different interpretations of the same song, you can hover and read the one which resonates best with the vibe of the song.
- Incase, you have your own vision, you can simply select the 'Describe your content' option and add 1-2 liner description.

Step 4: Finalise the Cast
- You will see characters, objects and locations, extracted from your video direction.
- If you would like AI generated cast, click and save the character with already populated data (which is editable). Same follows for Objects and Locations.
- You can also, upload your own image for each respectively.
This step is crucial as it help maintain the character consistency throught the storyboard visuals and music video.

Final Step: Finalise Video
Once, all the 4-steps are setup. You can click on the 'finalise Video' option.
- You can generate 'Storyboard' - still images/visuals for the music video first. (Then, scene-by-scene generate motions and lip-syncs)
- You can choose 'Preview Video' - generate the first 25 seconds with full motion & lip-sync. (To check if this align with your vision)
- Generate the Full Video with everything end-to-end. (Visuals, Motions, Lip-syncs)

Popular ways to use Music Video
The same workflow adapts to very different videos. These three are where creators get the most out of it:
- Personalized videos with your own face: upload your photo (and add multiple performers) so you, or a whole group, appear throughout. See [How do I make a personalized music video with my face (and multiple performers)?]
- Kids' rhyme and educational videos: turn a nursery rhyme or lesson song into a bright, animated video. See [How do I make kids' rhyme and educational videos?]
- Faith and devotional videos: bring a hymn, nasheed, or bhajan to life with reverent visuals. See [How do I make faith and devotional videos (Christian, Islamic, Hindu, and more)?]
π Troubleshooting
- Upload failed? Check file format and size.
- Audio not transcribing well? Try cleaner audio or reduce background noise.
- Incorrect language? Select it manually before clicking Transcribe.
