Publish your videos directly to YouTube

▶️ How do I publish a video directly to YouTube from Atlabs?

Atlabs can upload your finished video straight to your YouTube channel, no separate download-and-upload step needed. It lives in the Export panel under Other Actions.

Connect and publish

  1. Click Export in the top-right, then click the YouTube icon under Other Actions.
    • If you haven't exported yet, you'll see "Export the video first, then publish it to YouTube." Export your video, then come back to this step.
  2. The first time, you'll see Publish your videos directly to YouTube. Review what connecting allows (see What Atlabs can access, below), then click Connect.
  3. Sign in to the Google account for the channel you want to publish to.
  4. Once connected, fill in the publish form:
    • Add a Thumbnail: pick one, or use one generated with Create a Thumbnail on Atlabs itself!
    • Title and Description
    • Visibility: Private or Public
    • Advanced Settings: optional: tags and additional metadata
  5. Click Publish to upload now, or Schedule for Later to set a future publish time.

What Atlabs can access

When you connect your channel, Atlabs can:

  • Upload videos to your channel on your behalf
  • Generate a Thumbnail for your story

By connecting, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Atlabs only uploads videos you explicitly publish — it does not access or modify existing content on your channel.

💡 Tips:

  • Uploads default to Private: nothing goes public until you change Visibility or publish it yourself.
  • The upload uses your current export's resolution (shown as e.g. "Uploads the 2K export | 8MB") — re-export first if you've made changes since your last export.
  • To disconnect your channel later, go to your profile icon → (link to wherever channel management lives — confirm exact location).
