Create a thumbnail
👍 How do I create a thumbnail for my video?
Create Thumbnail generates a ready-to-use thumbnail straight from your video's own images, so you don't need a separate design tool. It lives in the Export panel under Other Actions.

Create a thumbnail
- Click Export in the top-right, then click Create Thumbnail under Other Actions.
- (Optional) In Describe the thumbnail, add direction for the look, e.g. "Bold title text, dramatic lighting, surprised expression."
- Under Select pictures you want to use to create a thumbnail, tick the scene images you want the thumbnail based on. (There's a per-model limit, e.g. up to 14 images for Nano Banana 2.)
- Choose a Model from the dropdown (default: Nano Banana 2).
- Click Create Thumbnail. The button shows the credit cost (e.g. 2 credits).

Each run produces one thumbnail. Want options? Run the flow again, tweak the description or swap the selected images, to generate more.
Review past thumbnails
Click See History (top-right of the Export or Create Thumbnail panel) to see every thumbnail you've generated, handy when you've created several and want to compare and pick the best.
💡 Tips:
- Select a few strong, on-character images rather than every scene, tighter input gives a cleaner result.
- Use the description box to add a title or set the mood; leave it blank to let the model choose.
- Generate a few variations and compare them in See History before choosing.
