How do I run a faceless kids music channel that posts every day?
A faceless kids music channel needs songs, animated videos for those songs, and a way to publish them on a schedule. Atlabs handles the videos and the publishing, and can make the songs too. You upload a song, Atlabs turns it into an animated music video with your channel's recurring characters, and you publish or schedule it to YouTube from the same screen. No one appears on camera and nothing is filmed.
Try it here: https://app.atlabs.ai/create/kids-music-video
Best for: new kids channels, nursery rhyme channels, and creators who want to post daily or weekly without an animation team.
What you need
- Songs. Use your own recordings, songs made with Suno or other music tools, or Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music), which turns your lyrics into a track.
- A channel mascot. Create it once in Atlabs and reuse it in every video.
- An Atlabs plan with enough credits. A minute of video costs about 80 to 90 credits without lip sync, and about 120 to 130 with lip sync.
Make your first video (set up once)
Step 1: Music
- Open Workflows → Kids Music Video. Click Upload your music track and add an .mp3 or .wav file up to 200MB. You can also paste a Suno or SoundCloud link and click Extract Music, or pick one of the Sample Music Files.
- No song yet? Make one with Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music).
Made your song on Suno?
- Open your song in Suno.
- Click Unlock Audio.
- Click Download Audio and upload the file here.
Once the audio is unlocked, you can also paste the Suno song link directly.

- In Trim your track, select the part of the song to use. Only the selected part is used in your video.
- Choose the Video type: Narrative (No Lip Sync, a story told across cinematic scenes) or Performance (Lip Sync, Premium, a lip-synced performance video of the artist).
- Optional: in the Storyline box, describe the story you want and introduce your cast. Leave it blank and Atlabs writes one from your track. Click Confirm.
- Narrative (no lip sync) costs less than Performance and suits most rhyme videos.

- Atlabs analyses the track and shows what it heard: Language, Mood, Genre and BPM. If anything is wrong, click the pencil icon on that card and correct it before you move on.

Step 2: Style
- Pick the Aspect Ratio: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1.
- Pick the Video Style: AI Video (Recommended) or AI Storyboard (still images).
- Pick a Visual Style from the grid. 3D Cartoon suits most nursery rhymes. Note your style and aspect ratio (16:9 for main videos, 9:16 for Shorts) so every video matches.

Step 3: Concepts
- Under Choose your concept, Atlabs shows several concepts generated from your song's tempo, mood and genre, each with a title, a short story and preview frames.
- Select one, or click the pencil icon on a concept to edit it. To write your own, click Describe your concept.

Step 4: Cast
- Atlabs generates the characters, objects and locations for your video. Review, swap or delete them: everything on this screen appears in your final video. Use Add Character or Add Object to add more.

For each character, open its card and choose how to set it up:
- AI-generated character (Create New): Atlabs fills in the details, such as name, age, gender, ethnicity, Visual Appearance, clothing and voice. Change anything you want and click Save. The more detail you give in Visual Appearance, the more consistent the character looks in every scene. Also add the character's height in Visual Appearance, for example "about 97 cm tall". Height keeps the character's proportions right next to other characters and objects, whether it is a human, an animal or any other character.
- Character Library: pick a character you made before, or one of the ready-made actors.
- Upload your own image: upload a reference image of your character, then choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look:
- Match Video Style converts your image into the video's visual style. Use it when your image is a real photo or a different art style from your video.
- Keep Uploaded Look uses your image as it is. Use it when your image is already in the same visual style as your video.
This choice keeps the uploaded character consistent with the visual style of the video.

For this video:
- Create your mascot with Create New and write its Visual Appearance in detail. It is saved to the Character Library, so you can pick it in every later video.
Locations and objects work the same way: create them with AI, pick them from the library, or upload your own image.
Finalise Video
- Click Finalise Video. In How would you like to start?, choose:
- Storyboard: a still image for every scene, with no motion or lip sync yet.
- Video Preview: the first 25 seconds with full motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
- Full Video: every scene with complete motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
- Each option shows its credit cost. Click Generate. For a new format, start with Storyboard or Video Preview, check it, then make the full video.
- You can close the window once generation starts. Your video keeps generating and appears in My Stories.

Add captions
- On the storyboard, click Captions in the top bar.
- Choose a caption style. Under Caption Settings, set the Text Size, Caption Length and Vertical Position, and change the font and colour under Font Settings. Click Save.

Publish to YouTube
- Click Export in the top-right, choose the resolution and click Export Video. Atlabs publishes your latest export, so export first.
- Under Other Actions, click YouTube. The first time, click Connect and sign in to the Google account for your channel.

- In the Publish to Youtube form, fill in Add a Thumbnail, Title and Description, then click Next.

- Set Visibility (Private or Public) and, if you want, Advanced Settings.
- Click Publish to upload now, or Schedule for Later to set a future time.
Your daily routine
Every later video follows the same four steps, with two changes:
- At Step 2: Style, pick the same aspect ratio and visual style as always.
- At Step 4: Cast, click the character card and pick your mascot from the Character Library tab instead of creating a new one.

Then add captions, export, and publish or Schedule for Later. For a thumbnail, click Thumbnail under Other Actions in the Export panel; it builds one from your own scenes. Making several videos in one sitting and scheduling them across the week is the quickest way to keep a daily channel running.
Keeping costs down
- Narrative videos without lip sync cost less than Performance videos with lip sync.
- Use Storyboard first on new formats, so you only add motion to scenes you are happy with.
- Reuse saved characters instead of generating new ones for each video.
Good to know
- Uploads from Atlabs are private by default, so nothing goes public until you choose.
- You own the videos you make, including for commercial use.
FAQ
What tools do I need for a faceless kids music channel?
A song source and an animation tool. Atlabs does both: Generate Music makes the songs and Kids Music Video turns them into animated videos.
How do people make AI-animated kids rhyme videos?
They upload or generate a rhyme, pick a cartoon style and a recurring character, and let the tool build the scenes from the lyrics. In Atlabs that is the four-step Kids Music Video workflow: Music, Style, Concepts, Cast.
Can I post one video a day?
Yes. Reuse your saved characters and style, and schedule uploads ahead of time from the Export panel.
