From finished song to published YouTube video in one day

Atlabs takes a finished song to a published YouTube video without leaving Atlabs. You upload the track, Atlabs writes the concept and builds every scene from the song's mood, genre and tempo, and you publish to your channel from the Export panel, with a thumbnail made from your own scenes (custom thumbnails need a verified YouTube channel). There is no separate editing app and no download-and-reupload step.

Try it here: https://app.atlabs.ai/create/music-video

Best for: AI music channels publishing Suno or Mureka songs, independent artists on a release schedule, and anyone with more songs than time.

Step 1: Music

  • Open Workflows → Music Video. Click Upload your music track and add an .mp3 or .wav file up to 200MB. You can also paste a Suno or SoundCloud link and click Extract Music, or pick one of the Sample Music Files.
  • No song yet? Make one with Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music).

Made your song on Suno?

  1. Open your song in Suno.
  2. Click Unlock Audio.
  3. Click Download Audio and upload the file here.

Once the audio is unlocked, you can also paste the Suno song link directly.

Atlabs Music Video, step 1 Music: upload your track, paste a Suno or SoundCloud link, or pick a sample

  • In Trim your track, select the part of the song to use. Only the selected part is used in your video.
  • Choose the Video type: Narrative (No Lip Sync, a story told across cinematic scenes) or Performance (Lip Sync, Premium, a lip-synced performance video of the artist).
  • Optional: in the Storyline box, describe the story you want and introduce your cast. Leave it blank and Atlabs writes one from your track. Click Confirm.

Trim your track: choose the part of the song, the video type and an optional storyline

  • Atlabs analyses the track and shows what it heard: Language, Mood, Genre and BPM. If anything is wrong, click the pencil icon on that card and correct it before you move on.

Here's what we heard in your track: the detected language, mood, genre and BPM, each editable

Step 2: Style

  • Pick the Aspect Ratio: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1.
  • Pick the Video Style: AI Video (Recommended) or AI Storyboard (still images).
  • Pick a Visual Style from the grid.

Style step: Aspect Ratio, Video Style (AI Video or AI Storyboard) and Visual Style, with the Custom Styles toggle

Step 3: Concepts

  • Under Choose your concept, Atlabs shows several concepts generated from your song's tempo, mood and genre, each with a title, a short story and preview frames.
  • Select one, or click the pencil icon on a concept to edit it. To write your own, click Describe your concept.

Concepts step: Choose your concept, edit one with the pencil, or click Describe your concept

Step 4: Cast

  • Atlabs generates the characters, objects and locations for your video. Review, swap or delete them: everything on this screen appears in your final video. Use Add Character or Add Object to add more.

Cast step: review, swap or delete the characters, objects and locations, then click Finalise Video

For each character, open its card and choose how to set it up:

  • AI-generated character (Create New): Atlabs fills in the details, such as name, age, gender, ethnicity, Visual Appearance, clothing and voice. Change anything you want and click Save. The more detail you give in Visual Appearance, the more consistent the character looks in every scene. Also add the character's height in Visual Appearance, for example "about 97 cm tall". Height keeps the character's proportions right next to other characters and objects, whether it is a human, an animal or any other character.
  • Character Library: pick a character you made before, or one of the ready-made actors.
  • Upload your own image: upload a reference image of your character, then choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look:
    • Match Video Style converts your image into the video's visual style. Use it when your image is a real photo or a different art style from your video.
    • Keep Uploaded Look uses your image as it is. Use it when your image is already in the same visual style as your video.

This choice keeps the uploaded character consistent with the visual style of the video.

Choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look for an uploaded image

For this video:

  • For a channel, pick your main character from the Character Library tab so every video has the same face.

Locations and objects work the same way: create them with AI, pick them from the library, or upload your own image.

Finalise Video

  • Click Finalise Video. In How would you like to start?, choose:

  • Storyboard: a still image for every scene, with no motion or lip sync yet.
  • Video Preview: the first 25 seconds with full motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
  • Full Video: every scene with complete motion (and lip sync where your video has it).

  • Each option shows its credit cost. Click Generate. Run Video Preview to check the first 25 seconds, then click Select Scenes to Generate Video under the preview and choose Video to finish the rest.
  • You can close the window once generation starts. Your video keeps generating and appears in My Stories.

How would you like to start? Storyboard, Video Preview or Full Video, with the credits for each

Polish

  • Click Edit Video to fix any scene, and click Captions in the top bar to add lyric captions.

Captions window: pick a caption style, then Caption Settings and Font Settings, and click Save

Publish to YouTube

  • Click Export in the top-right, choose the resolution and click Export Video. Atlabs publishes your latest export, so export first.
  • Under Other Actions, click YouTube. The first time, click Connect and sign in to the Google account for your channel.

Export panel: YouTube under Other Actions, next to Download, Preview Link, Premiere Pro, Thumbnail and Export SRT

  • In the Publish to Youtube form, fill in Add a Thumbnail, Title and Description, then click Next.

Publish to YouTube form: thumbnail, title and description

  • Set Visibility (Private or Public) and, if you want, Advanced Settings.
  • Click Publish to upload now, or Schedule for Later to set a future time.

Building a YouTube channel from AI songs

  • Pick one visual style and one recurring character, and use them in every video so the channel is recognisable.
  • Make a 9:16 version for Shorts of your strongest songs.
  • Schedule uploads ahead of time from the publish form to post on a steady rhythm.

Good to know

  • Uploads from Atlabs are private by default. Change Visibility to Public or schedule a time when you are ready.
  • The YouTube upload uses your latest export. Re-export after any change.
  • Atlabs only uploads videos you publish. It does not touch other videos on your channel.
