Anime, K-pop and cinematic music videos

Atlabs makes anime, K-pop and cinematic music videos from an AI-generated song, with nothing filmed. The look comes from the visual style you pick at the Style step: an anime style for anime and K-pop videos, and Realistic for a cinematic film look. Upload the song, pick the style and a concept, and Atlabs builds every scene with the same characters.

Try it here: https://app.atlabs.ai/create/music-video

Best for: songs made with Suno, Mureka or ElevenLabs Music, K-pop and J-pop covers, anime openings, and cinematic story videos.

Step 1: Music

  • Open Workflows → Music Video. Click Upload your music track and add an .mp3 or .wav file up to 200MB. You can also paste a Suno or SoundCloud link and click Extract Music, or pick one of the Sample Music Files.
  • No song yet? Make one with Generate Music (app.atlabs.ai/music).

Made your song on Suno?

  1. Open your song in Suno.
  2. Click Unlock Audio.
  3. Click Download Audio and upload the file here.

Once the audio is unlocked, you can also paste the Suno song link directly.

Atlabs Music Video, step 1 Music: upload your track, paste a Suno or SoundCloud link, or pick a sample

  • In Trim your track, select the part of the song to use. Only the selected part is used in your video.
  • Choose the Video type: Narrative (No Lip Sync, a story told across cinematic scenes) or Performance (Lip Sync, Premium, a lip-synced performance video of the artist).
  • Optional: in the Storyline box, describe the story you want and introduce your cast. Leave it blank and Atlabs writes one from your track. Click Confirm.

Trim your track: choose the part of the song, the video type and an optional storyline

  • Atlabs analyses the track and shows what it heard: Language, Mood, Genre and BPM. If anything is wrong, click the pencil icon on that card and correct it before you move on.

Here's what we heard in your track: the detected language, mood, genre and BPM, each editable

Step 2: Style

  • Pick the Aspect Ratio: 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube, or 1:1.
  • Pick the Video Style: AI Video (Recommended) or AI Storyboard (still images).
  • Pick a Visual Style from the grid. Anime music video: an anime style. K-pop video: an anime style. Cinematic music video: Realistic.

Visual Style grid: pick one style for the whole video

Step 3: Concepts

  • Under Choose your concept, Atlabs shows several concepts generated from your song's tempo, mood and genre, each with a title, a short story and preview frames.
  • Select one, or click the pencil icon on a concept to edit it. To write your own, click Describe your concept. Name the look in your description, for example "K-pop girl group, five members, matching white outfits, dance stage with LED screens" or "cinematic road trip at golden hour, 35mm film look, slow camera moves".

Concepts step: Choose your concept, edit one with the pencil, or click Describe your concept

Step 4: Cast

  • Atlabs generates the characters, objects and locations for your video. Review, swap or delete them: everything on this screen appears in your final video. Use Add Character or Add Object to add more.

Cast step: review, swap or delete the characters, objects and locations, then click Finalise Video

For each character, open its card and choose how to set it up:

  • AI-generated character (Create New): Atlabs fills in the details, such as name, age, gender, ethnicity, Visual Appearance, clothing and voice. Change anything you want and click Save. The more detail you give in Visual Appearance, the more consistent the character looks in every scene. Also add the character's height in Visual Appearance, for example "about 97 cm tall". Height keeps the character's proportions right next to other characters and objects, whether it is a human, an animal or any other character.
  • Character Library: pick a character you made before, or one of the ready-made actors.
  • Upload your own image: upload a reference image of your character, then choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look:
    • Match Video Style converts your image into the video's visual style. Use it when your image is a real photo or a different art style from your video.
    • Keep Uploaded Look uses your image as it is. Use it when your image is already in the same visual style as your video.

This choice keeps the uploaded character consistent with the visual style of the video.

Choose Match Video Style or Keep Uploaded Look for an uploaded image

For this video:

  • For a group, create one character per member with a detailed Visual Appearance, so each member stays recognisable.

Locations and objects work the same way: create them with AI, pick them from the library, or upload your own image.

Finalise Video

  • Click Finalise Video. In How would you like to start?, choose:

  • Storyboard: a still image for every scene, with no motion or lip sync yet.
  • Video Preview: the first 25 seconds with full motion (and lip sync where your video has it).
  • Full Video: every scene with complete motion (and lip sync where your video has it).

  • Each option shows its credit cost. Click Generate. Start with Video Preview, then generate the full video.
  • You can close the window once generation starts. Your video keeps generating and appears in My Stories.

How would you like to start? Storyboard, Video Preview or Full Video, with the credits for each

Which style for which video

Video | Style to pick | Concept tip |

Anime music video | An anime style | Describe the setting: school rooftop, neon city, fantasy forest |

K-pop idol video | An anime style | Matching outfits per member, stage lights, choreography moments |

Cinematic music video | Realistic | Time of day, camera feel, a clear story with a beginning and end |

Good to know

  • For anime and stylised looks, MiniMax H3 Max and Seedance 2.0 mini are good motion models.
  • The style applies to every scene in the video.
  • Want a look that is not in the grid? Create your own with Custom Styles at the Style step (see the article "Custom Styles: create your own visual style from reference photos"), or contact support@atlabs.ai.
