Your Library: reusing assets and recovering deleted work

Everything you generate or upload on Atlabs is saved to your Library at app.atlabs.ai/library, or via Library in the top navigation bar.

The Library does two jobs: it lets you reuse characters, images and audio across projects, and it's often where you can find something back if you deleted it from a project by accident.

Recovering a deleted shot or image

If you remove a shot or image from a project, the underlying asset usually isn't gone — it's still saved in your Library.

1. Open Library from the top navigation.
2. Find the image or clip you removed.
3. Add it back into your project from the scene you want it in.

🚨 You don't need to regenerate it, and you shouldn't — regenerating costs credits, pulling it back from the Library doesn't.

Reusing characters across videos

Characters you create are added to your Library automatically. To reuse one in a new project:

1. Start a new video and go to the cast selection step (step 3).
2. Click the character card to open the picker.
3. Choose your saved character from the Library.

Pick the same visual style as your previous video too — style and cast together are what keep a series looking consistent.

💡 Tip: Once you've used a character as an actor in a video, it moves automatically into the Actors folder in your Library, which makes it easier to find next time.

Reusing objects and locations

Objects and locations work the same way as characters — save them once, then select them from the Library in any later project. See How to reuse a character, location, or object across videos?

Uploading your own assets

You can upload your own character images, audio files and reference images, and they'll be saved to the Library alongside generated ones. Uploading your own characters requires the Pro plan or above — see Upload your own character.

What's stored

• AI-generated images and video clips
• Voiceover and music you've generated
• Characters, objects and locations you've created or uploaded
• Files you've uploaded yourself
