Split Scene

✄ How do I split a scene?

Split Scene divides a single scene into two or more sub-scenes, each editable independently. It's useful when one scene covers two distinct ideas that would each benefit from their own visual.

Divide one scene into two sub-scenes at a chosen word - each can then be edited independently.

Split a scene

  • Open the Split Scene tab, the scene's narration shows with word-level highlighting.
  • Click the word where you want the split, it highlights in red.
  • You can hear the selected section in the timeline right below the words.
  • Click Split Scene, the scene becomes two sub-scenes (e.g. 8.1 and 8.2).
  • Click Reset to undo the split-point selection.

💡 Tips:

  • Split scenes that cover two different ideas for better pacing and visual variety.
  • After splitting, regenerate each sub-scene's visual separately with different prompts.
