🎬 How does the Edit Video panel work?

How do I edit my video?

Open your story from My Stories and click Edit Video (or click any scene in the storyboard). Each scene has its own tabs, so you can change one thing without regenerating the whole video:

• Visual / Edit Image: change or fix the scene’s image
• Audio: edit the dialogue, narration and voice
• Motion: regenerate or change the scene’s movement
• Lip Sync: add or redo lip sync for a speaking character
• Split Scene: divide one scene into two
• B-Roll: add text, titles or images on top of a scene
• Captions: change caption style, size and position
• Settings: duration, transitions and deleting a scene

Use Music, Captions and Characters in the top bar to change the whole video at once. When you’re done, click Export.

The Edit Video panel is the scene-level editor that opens when you click Edit Video (or click into any scene). It gives you complete control over a scene across three panels and nine tabs: Visual, Edit Image, Audio, Motion, Lip Sync, Split Scene, B-Roll, Captions, and Settings.

Click Edit Video from the storyboard to open the full scene editor. Three panels give you complete control over every scene.

The three-panel layout

• Left: the scene strip with every scene and its timestamp. Sub-scenes (e.g. 1.1, 1.2) appear here after splitting.
• Middle: the nine edit tabs for the selected scene.
• Right: a live scene preview with visual-adjustment tools.

• Crop / Flip / Trim / Reverse / Playback and Timeline to adjust the length or add B-roll. Image/Text/Audio: quick visual adjustments: Easy to use, easier to implement.

• Aspect ratio selector: change ratio per scene
• Shot/ Scene / Full Video toggle: preview visual shot or motion scene alone or in full video context
• Scene description: auto-generated prompt text (copyable)
• Scene variants strip: thumbnail options to pick from without regenerating

Edit an existing video one scene at a time

Open Edit Video from the storyboard, then select the scene from the left-hand scene strip. Use the relevant tab in the middle panel to edit that scene's visual, image, voiceover, motion, or lip sync. In Edit Image, make targeted changes to the scene image; in Motion, adjust the prompt or regenerate motion for that scene. You can also use the right-side crop, flip, trim, and playback tools. Repeat for other scenes as needed; changes to one scene do not automatically apply to the rest of the video.

Regenerating a scene can use credits. Review the selected scene and generation options before starting a new generation. The scene variants strip may let you select an existing option without regenerating.
