🎯 Your First Project

This guide walks you through creating your first video on Atlabs, from choosing a workflow to exporting a finished video. The entire process takes less than 10 minutes.

Step 1: Start a New Project

Go to the Home page and select a starting point. You can choose "Text to Video" if you have an idea or script, or "Audio to Video" if you're starting with a song or voiceover file. Either option takes you into the storyboard wizard, which guides you through the rest.

Step 2: Script & Style Wizard Flow

1. Script

Write your script directly, use the "Generate Script with AI" feature to create one from an idea, or upload your own screenplay file. You can also choose the tone and video length at this stage.

2. Set Style

Pick a visual style for your video. You can choose from platform presets like Realistic, 3D Cartoon, Anime, or Flat 2D Modern or apply your own AI Style model if you want a consistent visual identity across multiple videos.

3. Finalise Cast

Define the characters that will appear in your video. You can use platform AI avatars, create a new character from scratch with a detailed visual description, or use your own AI actor. The more detail you provide (hair, clothing, build), the more consistent your character will look across scenes.

Once you're happy with the setup, click Generate Storyboard. Atlabs will create a full scene-by-scene visual draft with AI-generated images, narration, and timestamps.

Step 3: Frame-by-Frame Editing

After the storyboard is generated, you can edit each scene from the left panel:

• Replace visuals using stock, uploads, or AI generation

• Adjust voiceover, music, and captions

• Add B-Roll, captions, background music or split scenes

Step 4: Motion and Lip Sync

• Add cinematic motion to all the frames under the Motion tab. You have 10+ top tier AI models like Kling, Google Veo3, Sora, Runway, Hailuo, Wan, Seedance, LTX to choose from

• Select Lip Sync and apply it to any frame with a character model and voiceover

Step 5: Export and Post-Production

• Click "Export" to generate a high-quality MP4 in the top right.

• Use 'Preview Link' (to share with others for feedback), Download Video (MP4 to your device), or Premiere Pro (to continue editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, available on Plus plan and above).

Choosing the Right Workflow

Each workflow is designed for a different starting point:

• Idea / Text to Video: fastest, type any idea and get a complete video
• Script to Video: paste or upload a script for more control
• Music Video: upload a song and get lyrics mapped to visuals
• UGC Avatar Video: AI talking-head videos, no camera needed, your AI character is the influencer.
• UGC Product Ads: turn a product photo into an ad video
