Split Scene

✄ Split Scene

Split Scene divides a single scene into two or more sub-scenes, each of which can be edited independently. This is useful when a single scene covers two distinct ideas and would benefit from different visuals for each.

Divide one scene into two sub-scenes at a chosen word - each can then be edited independently.

How it works

  • Scene narration text is shown with word-level highlighting
  • Click the word where you want the split to happen - it highlights in red
  • Click the Split Scene button - scene becomes e.g. 8.1 and 8.2
  • Click Reset to undo the split point selection

Tips

Here are some tips to get the best results:

  • Split scenes that cover two different ideas for better pacing and visual variety
  • After splitting, regenerate each sub-scene visual separately with different prompts
