Modify Video makes AI-powered edits to an existing clip from a text prompt, changing objects, backgrounds, colors, or style without reshooting. You reference your uploaded clip in the prompt using a tag like @Video1.

All video tools share the same layout: upload panel on the left, History and How it Works tabs on the right. Select from Library is available on all tools to reuse existing assets.

Edit a Video

Follow these steps to get started:

• Go to Video → Modify Video.
• Upload your video, drag & drop, paste a URL, or Select from Library (max 200 MB, 10 seconds).
• Note the reference tag shown, e.g. @Video1.
• Describe your change using the tag, e.g. "Change the cherry blossom to a maple tree in @Video1."
• Click Generate Video, then preview and download from the right panel.

Editing a generated scene

For a generated scene where the source image needs a change, edit the image first, then convert it to video again. For example, to make the sky darker, the source image itself must have the darker sky; the generated motion cannot be used to fix that image detail. In the scene's Image tab, use Edit Image to make changes. If the motion output does not preserve the image's details, try generating it with a different motion model.

Tips for better results

• Always include the @Video1 tag in your prompt, without it, the edit won't apply.
• Be specific: "Replace the red car with a blue truck" works better than "change the car."

🚨 If changes aren't applying, confirm the @Video1 tag is in your prompt. If upload fails, check the file is under 200 MB and 10 seconds.
