Can I use a real person's face or voice?

Atlabs lets you bring a real person into a video, uploading a face in workflows that support it, or cloning a voice. Powerful, but it comes with one firm rule: only use a real person's face or voice with their permission.

  • Use your own face/voice freely.
  • Use someone else's only if you have their clear consent to create and use that content.
  • Don't use anyone's likeness to deceive about who said or did something, or to imply an endorsement that isn't real.

Why it matters

Beyond Atlabs' rules, using someone's likeness without consent can violate publicity, privacy, biometric, or defamation laws depending on where you and they are. When in doubt, get written permission or don't proceed.
