The fastest way to create a video on Atlabs. Type any idea, topic, or sentence into the homepage input box and the platform builds a complete video — script, visuals, voiceover, and motion — automatically.

How to Get Started

• Go to your dashboard and click inside the "What should we create today?" text box.
• Type your idea or topic — short phrases and full sentences both work. Below the text box, set your four preferences: Visual Style (Realistic, 3D Cartoon, Anime, etc.), Aspect Ratio (16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 1:1 for Instagram feed), Duration (15s, 30s, or 60s), and Language for the voiceover.
• Then click Generate Video.

💡 Tip: Be specific — "5 morning habits for productivity" works much better than just "morning habits".

Common Issues

If the video doesn't match your idea, add more detail to the prompt. If the output feels generic, use the AI Script Writer to refine your script before generating.

Four settings below the text box control how your video looks and where it fits. Always set these before generating.

Visual Style determines the artistic look of your video. Options include Realistic, Painting, 3D Cartoon, Flat 2D Modern, Storyboard, 3D Style, and Anime. You can search through styles using the search bar.

Aspect Ratio should match your target platform: 16:9 for YouTube and desktop, 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and 1:1 for Instagram feed posts. Changing the ratio after generation requires the Reframe Video tool.

Duration options are 15 seconds, 30 seconds, or 60 seconds. Longer videos use more credits.

Language sets the voiceover language. Write your prompt in your target language for the best voiceover results.

💡 Tip: Always match aspect ratio to your platform before generating. Use Generate Storyboard first to preview the style before spending full credits.

The AI Script Writer refines your idea into an editable script before generating. This gives you a chance to review the narrative, adjust the tone, and make changes before any credits are spent on visuals.

Using the AI Script Writer

Type your idea in the text box, then click the wand icon (🪄) beside the Generate Video button. The AI generates a structured script that you can review and edit line by line. Once you're happy, click Generate Video.

Generate Options

Click the dropdown arrow on the Generate Video button to see two options: Generate Video produces the full video with visuals, voiceover, and motion. Generate Storyboard produces a scene structure preview at a much lower credit cost — useful for checking story flow before committing to full generation.

💡 Tip: Use Generate Storyboard first to validate your structure, especially for longer or complex videos.

After clicking Generate, Atlabs runs a 7-step automated pipeline: analyzing your input, creating story structure, configuring voice settings, setting visual style, generating audio, creating visuals, and finalizing the video. This takes about 1–2 minutes.

Storyboard Layout

Once generation completes, you land on the Storyboard view. The left panel shows scene cards with thumbnails, narration text, and timestamps. The right panel shows the video preview with motion status and an Add Lip Sync button. The top bar contains global tools: Translate, Music, Captions, and Characters. The top right has Edit Video and Export buttons.

💡 Tip: Don't close the tab during generation. If it seems stuck, wait 5 minutes then check My Stories — the generation may have completed in the background.
