# Edit Video Panel Overview

# 🎬 How does the Edit Video panel work?

The Edit Video panel is the scene-level editor that opens when you click **Edit Video** (or click into any scene). It gives you complete control over a scene across three panels and nine tabs: **Visual, Edit Image, Voiceover, Motion, Lip Sync, Split Scene, B-Roll, Captions,** and **Settings.**

Click Edit Video from the storyboard to open the full scene editor. Three panels give you complete control over every scene.

###### The three-panel layout

* **Left:** the scene strip with every scene and its timestamp. Sub-scenes (e.g. 1.1, 1.2) appear here after splitting.
* **Middle:** the nine edit tabs for the selected scene.
* **Right:** a live scene preview with visual-adjustment tools.
