Add Emotion, Pauses, and Speed to Your Voiceover
🎙️ How do I change the emotion, pacing, or speed of my voiceover?)
Your voiceover script can carry more than just words. Typing @ anywhere in the script opens a list of emotions and sounds you can insert directly, including a way to speed up delivery.

Add an emotion or sound
- In the Voiceover tab, place your cursor where you want the tag and type @.
- Choose between Emotions (20 options: Angrily, Excitedly, Anxious, Sadly, Calm, Frustrated, Tired, Nervous, and more) and Sounds (8 options).
- Select one; it inserts into your script at that point and shapes how that line is delivered.
Don't see the emotion you want?
Type the word you're looking for. If it's not in the list, you'll see an option to add "[your word]" as an emotion, letting you use a custom tag beyond the built-in list.
Speed up a line
Add quickly as an emotion tag at the point you want faster delivery. This speeds up that section of the voiceover, no separate speed setting needed.

💡 Tip: These tags are one of the fastest ways to fix a voiceover that feels flat or oddly paced without regenerating the whole thing. Tag the specific line, not the whole script, for the most control.
